Joseph Crocé-Spinelli (French: Joseph Eustache Crocé-Spinelli; 10 July 1845 – 15 April 1875) was a French engineer, aeronaut and inventor, one of the pioneers of aviation. Along with Gaston Tissandier and Théodore Sivel, he achieved a record altitude of 8,600 metres (28,200 ft) in the gas balloon.
